FAQs‌ ‌for‌ ‌WPS‌ ‌Parents/Carers‌ ‌during‌ ‌Covid-19‌ ‌Closure‌

Wheatley Park School rides high in Oxfordshire School Performance Tables

Achieving excellent academic outcomes is only one element of our vision of becoming a sustainably outstanding school in every sense in accordance with our values of Everyone Learning and Everyone Caring.

That said, it is an important element upon which the future prospects of our students partly depend. It is pleasing, therefore, to see that the sustainable improvements we have made to the school over the last three years have translated into strong academic progress, and this is reflected in the final version of the School Performance Tables for 2019:

Wheatley Park School's performance
Oxfordshire Schools' performance

We are particularly proud to have been one of only two state schools in Oxfordshire in which students achieved above average progress at both GCSE and A-level in 2019.

Examination outcomes have a habit of fluctuating year on year, but we are confident that the overall trend will continue to be an improving one thanks to the superb efforts of our staff, students, parents/carers and the wider school community.
