Our warmest congratulations to the Wheatley Park Class of 2018 who have worked hard to achieve another fantastic set of results.
Libby Jervis, 16, was one student who conquered the tougher demands of the new specifications to secure a full set of ten GCSEs all at Grade 9 plus an A* in Further Maths - an exceptional achievement. However, students at all levels have reaped the rewards of the enormous commitment they have demonstrated not just in lessons but also in after-school intervention sessions and at home. We are pleased that the vast majority have gained the grades they need to progress to the Sixth Form, college or apprenticeship of their choice.
After our strong set of A-Level results last week (which place us in the top 25% of Sixth Forms for student progress), we are confident that those students who choose to continue at our Sixth Form will only continue to build upon their fine achievements at GCSE.
As a school, we are deeply indebted to our amazing staff for helping our students achieve success during this uncertain period of educational reform and grateful as ever for the ongoing support we receive from our students’ families.
Thank you to Year 11 for being wonderful ambassadors for the school and good luck on the next stage of your journey.
